HTL offers:

Clean Day for a Dirty Day Program: For participants who may not be ready for a full outpatient program but would like somewhere to spend at least one day clean.

Day Program: Provides support groups and counseling services daily including Telehealth.

All participants must be males 18+, living with HIV, and suffering from a substance use disorder (SUD).

After completing the screening, you will come in for a recovery interview and assessment to see which level of our program best fits you.

There are no fees associated with our recovery program; we are a non-profit organization.

Our Day Program offers various classes such as Recovery Dynamics, Recovery Stage Model, Trauma Recovery, Life Skills, Budgeting, Substance Abuse Coping Skills, Step Study Basics, Assertive Communication in Recovery, and Fun in Recovery. Group subjects evolve and are available on demand, either in person or via Zoom. To enroll in classes or speak with a recovery coach, please contact us.

At Here’s to Life, we follow a Harm Reduction approach. While alcohol/substance use is not permitted during groups or in our housing program, having a relapse outside of our property may not result in dismissal from the program.

For our SACES day program, we accommodate various schedules with classes held at different times, both in person and virtually. In our housing program, participants can begin searching for employment after completing the 120-day emergency housing phase.

Regardless of HIV status, you are eligible for our services. Our outreach program, The Brothaz Helping Brothaz, targets MSMOC (Men Who Have Sex With Men - Of Color) and Heterosexual Men of Color in the Atlanta area, aiming to provide support, education, and linkage to care.

Here’sto Life provides comprehensive prevention services to all members of the community, regardless of race, gender, age, or HIV status. Our services are designed to connect participants with essential resources, including recovery support, sexual health screenings, housing assistance, food, and clothing.

The Here’s to Life Prevention team actively engages with the community through our Prevention Outreach Services. Our staff conducts outreach across the Atlanta Metro Area, collaborating with community-based organizations, colleges, and health fairs. These initiatives include educational seminars, informational tabling, and small group sessions, providing valuable resources and support to the community.

The "Here's to Life" program aims to empower individuals with the crucial skills and resources needed to improve their employability and succeed in the workforce.

This program is tailored for participants in the HTL Housing Programs as well as individuals seeking to enhance their job skills, including those who are unemployed, underemployed, or looking to transition into new careers.

Participants have access to a range of services, such as job readiness training, assistance with resume writing, interview preparation, and workshops focused on skill development to address various needs.

The DISC-based Behavioral Assessment serves as the foundational step in the HTL Workforce Development Pathway to Employment. It assists individuals in gaining a deeper understanding of their behavioral styles and how these styles impact their interactions with others. By identifying key traits—Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness—participants can enhance their communication, teamwork, and overall effectiveness across various environments. Additionally, the personalized assessment results will be utilized to help match individuals with job opportunities that align with their unique behavioral styles.

It is important to begin your job search only after consulting with the Workforce Development Manager. They will provide guidance to ensure you are prepared and equipped for the process.
